By using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. All content on this site, including images, text, and designs, is the property of Laala Home Ltd and may not be reproduced without written permission.
3/ General Terms & Conditions
Our online and on-site design services are intended for personal residential use unless otherwise agreed in writing. All packages are non-transferable and non-refundable once design work has commenced
All prices are shown in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable. Laala Home reserves the right to update prices or service details at any time.
4/ E-Design Service Terms
Our e-design service is provided entirely online. Once you complete your questionnaire and submit room details, we begin the creative process. Each package includes one design presentation and one round of revisions (unless otherwise specified).
Designs are provided digitally and include moodboards, layouts, and product suggestions. Product availability and pricing are subject to change; Laala Home cannot guarantee stock or delivery from third-party suppliers.
5/ On-Site Design Terms
Background
These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which Laala Home Ltd (“Laala Home”, “we”, “us”) provides on-site interior design services to residential clients. Please read them carefully before instructing us.
These Terms apply where the customer is a Consumer as defined by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
1. Definitions
In these Terms:
• Agreed Times – the dates and times agreed between you and us for access to your property.
• Agreement – the contract formed when you accept our Quotation in writing.
• Business – any trade, craft or profession carried on by you or another party.
• Consumer – an individual acting wholly or mainly outside their Business.
• Designer – Laala Home or our employee/representative delivering the Services.
• Deposit – the advance payment described in clause 5.
• Final Fee – the total amount payable as shown on our invoice(s).
• Interior Design Services / Services – the on-site design services described in the Agreement.
• Model Cancellation Form – the statutory form attached as Schedule A (if provided).
• Order – your initial request for us to provide Services.
• Products – any goods we source or supply in connection with the Services.
• Property – the address where the Project is carried out.
• Project – the performance of the Services under the Agreement.
• Quotation / Quoted Fee – our written scope and price issued to you.
• Start Date – the agreed date for us to begin the Services.
• Visit – any attendance at the Property by the Designer.
• You / Your – the Consumer client.
References to “writing” include email and other electronic communication.

4. Engagement
1. We accept instructions via our website, by email or telephone.
2. On request, we can attend a paid on-site consultation (around 60 minutes; up to two designers may attend). We then gather information to prepare a Design Plan outlining our proposed approach.
3. The Design Plan may be shared digitally or discussed in person. We require accurate information such as room dimensions, photos, and style preferences.
4. Once provisionally agreed, we issue a Quotation setting out the Services, fees and any required Deposit.
5. Our Quotation reflects project complexity, site visits, correspondence, installation support and logistics. Unless stated otherwise, building or handyman labour is excluded (we can assist in arranging third-party contractors).
6. If we cannot accept your Order, we will notify you promptly.
7. You may request changes to the Design Plan or Quotation before acceptance.
8. Quotations remain open for 21 days.
9. When you confirm acceptance in writing and pay the Deposit, a legally binding Agreement is formed.
10. Post-acceptance amendments will be handled reasonably; we will confirm feasibility, cost or timing implications, or your cancellation rights under clauses 12 – 13.
5. Deposit
1. A Deposit of 70 % of the Quoted Fee may be required. Work will not commence and Products will not be ordered until payment is received.
2. If you cancel, part or all of the Deposit may be retained – see clauses 12 – 14.
6. Fees and Payment
1. The Quoted Fee covers design services only. We will provide an itemised list of Products for approval before purchasing on your behalf once payment is received.
2. Fees are stated inclusive/exclusive of VAT as shown on the Quotation (adjusted if VAT rates change).
3. We invoice the balance on completion or in agreed stages.
4. Invoices must be paid within 30 calendar days by bank transfer.
5. Late payments may accrue interest at 8 % above Bank of England base rate per annum, calculated daily until settled.
7. Interior Design Services
1. We will perform the Services with reasonable care and skill, as set out in the Agreement.
2. Sketches, renders and layouts are illustrative; actual results may vary.
3. We will use reasonable efforts to source agreed Products. Minor variations (finish, packaging, manufacturer updates) may occur. If a Product is unavailable, we will propose an alternative. If declined, you may cancel that item and receive a refund for sums paid.
4. Measuring Service (if selected): We measure spaces with professional tools for guidance only. You must verify all dimensions before ordering or hiring trades.
5. Purchasing / Trade Discounts: Where Laala Home purchases on your behalf, we may retain trade discounts, commissions or mark-ups, as standard industry practice.
6. We will take reasonable care to avoid property damage and will make good any damage caused by us.
7. For multi-day Projects, we will leave areas tidy and minimise disruption.
8. You will receive one month of aftercare post-completion for minor snagging, replacement of damaged goods and coordination with suppliers or trades.
9. Time is not of the essence unless expressly agreed in writing.
10. All intellectual-property rights in our Designs and materials (except items you supply) remain our property.
8. Faulty Products
If a Product is defective or misdescribed, notify us promptly at studio@laalahome.com. We will liaise with the supplier to obtain a repair, replacement or refund on your behalf.
9. Issues with our Service
1. If you believe the Services were not carried out with reasonable care and skill, you may request that we repeat or remedy them.
2. We will use reasonable efforts to resolve issues quickly.
3. We are not responsible for work or delays caused by independent contractors engaged on the Project.
10. Your Warranties and Obligations
1.You confirm all information supplied is accurate and complete.
2. You must obtain any permissions or consents (e.g., landlord, freeholder, planning).
3. If requested, you will move furniture or fittings before work begins (unless otherwise agreed).
4. Provide access to the Property at the Agreed Times.
5. You may provide keys, which we will keep securely, or be present for access.
6. If access or conditions prevent us from working, we may charge for wasted costs.
7. Ensure electricity and running water are available.
8. After completion, you will have the opportunity to inspect and identify any reasonable snags for correction.
11. Changing the Start Date
1. If you request a change, we will try to agree a new Start Date. If not possible, either party may terminate under clause 14. If no Start Date is set within 12 months, we may treat the Project as closed.
2. If we request a change, you may accept a new Start Date or terminate under clause 14.
12. Cooling-Off Period
1. Where this Agreement is formed off-premises, you may cancel within 14 days of acceptance.
2. To cancel, email studio@laalahome.com or write to our registered address.
3. Refunds will include any Deposit paid minus the value of work already performed and any non-returnable Products.
4. If you ask us to begin work during the cooling-off period, you acknowledge that:
1. once Services are fully performed you lose the right to cancel;
2. if you cancel after work begins, you pay for work done and non-returnable Products;
3. any refund due will be issued within 14 days.
13. Cancellation after the Cooling-Off Period
1. If you cancel after the cooling-off period or within seven (7) days of the Start Date, we may retain from the Deposit an amount reflecting our net loss. Any balance will be refunded within 14 days.
2. If we must cancel due to unavailability or circumstances beyond our control, we will inform you promptly and refund all payments made.
14. Termination
1. If communication from you ceases for three (3) months or is insufficient to progress the Project, we may deem it complete and/or terminate.
2. You may terminate immediately if:
(a) we materially breach and fail to remedy within 21 days;
(b) we enter insolvency;
(c) a revised Start Date cannot be agreed; or
(d) performance is prevented by a force-majeure event.
3. We may terminate immediately if:
(a) you fail to pay on time;
(b) you materially breach and fail to remedy within 7 days;
(c) no revised Start Date is agreed;
(d) access is denied; or
(e) we cannot provide Services for 2 weeks due to events beyond our control.
4. Upon termination:
– We will refund prepaid sums for Services not provided, less reasonable costs.
– We may charge a cancellation fee for setup or design time incurred.
– Any outstanding balances will be invoiced per clause 6.
15. Effects of Termination
Clauses intended to survive (e.g., IP, payment, liability, law) remain in force. Termination does not affect accrued rights or remedies.
16. Events Outside Our Control (Force Majeure)
1. We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., power outage, strikes, civil unrest, fire, flood, pandemic, terrorism, war, extreme weather).
2. We will notify you promptly, suspend obligations, and propose revised timings. Either party may terminate under clause 14 if the event continues beyond a reasonable period.
17. Liability and Limitations
1. We maintain appropriate insurances including public liability.
2. Services are for domestic use only; we accept no responsibility for business losses.
3. We will make good damage we cause, but not pre-existing defects.
4. We are not liable for loss resulting from your failure to follow our reasonable instructions.
5. While we take reasonable steps to verify access and fit, we are not liable for supplier delays, failed deliveries or items that do not fit due to access restrictions.
6. We are not responsible for acts or omissions of independent contractors or suppliers. Contracts for their work are between you and those parties; you indemnify us against resulting losses.
7. We cannot guarantee stock availability of recommended products.
8. Our total aggregate liability for all claims is limited to the Quoted Fee.
9. Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
10. Your statutory Consumer rights are unaffected.
18. Data Protection
1. We collect and process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

19. Other Important Terms
1. We may update these Terms; we will notify you of material changes where possible.
2. We may assign our rights/obligations; we will inform you if we do.
3. You may not assign this Agreement without our written consent.
4. The Agreement is between you and Laala Home; no third party has rights of enforcement.
5. If any clause is found invalid, the remainder will continue in effect.
6. A delay or failure to exercise any right is not a waiver.
20. Consumer Regulations and Pre-Contract Information
All information required under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 is provided within your Quotation and Agreement, and forms part of our contract with you.
21. Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any related Agreement are governed by English law.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
6/ Shop Terms & Conditions
All products are curated by Laala Home and sourced from trusted partners. Product colours and finishes may vary slightly from images shown.
Payment must be received in full prior to dispatch.
If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days for assistance. Returns are accepted within 14 days for unused, original-condition items (excluding bespoke or made-to-order pieces).
7/ Intellectual Property
All visual materials, layouts, and written content created by Laala Home remain the intellectual property of Laala Home Ltd and may not be reproduced or shared publicly without permission.
8/ Information Collection & Purpose
We collect personal data only to manage your enquiry, project, or order. Your information will never be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
9/ Data Security
